Inc. 5000 Award

EEC, Incorporated is on the 2007 and 2008, Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America. According to the magazine, "This achievement puts EEC, Incorporated among an elite group that over the years has included Microsoft, Timberland, Cold Stone Creamery, and many others. Many of today’s most successful U.S. companies received their first public recognition when they appeared on the Inc. 5000 list."

Top 500 Diversity-Owned Business Award

In 2006, DiversityBusiness.com selected EEC, Incorporated, to be listed by them as one of the U.S.’s Top 500 Diversity-Owned Businesses.

Each year DiversityBusiness.com compiles the ‘Top Business List’ on a state- and nation-wide basis. It compiles data to determine the top small businesses and the most successful entrepreneur’s across the United States. These businesses and individuals become part of the Div5000 awards program.

Maryland Governor’s Award

EEC, Incorporated is the recipient of the Maryland Governor’s Award, being selected as one of the Top 100 Minority Owned Businesses by the Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs (GOMA). This award is given to companies based on their outstanding achievement in the areas of business development, client satisfaction, professional affiliations, and community outreach.

Black Enterprise (BE) Rising Star Award

Black Enterprise Magazine selected André Downey as one of their 'Rising Stars,' and awarded him the prestigious 2002 Black Enterprise Business Award.

This award was created to honor exceptional business achievements made by individuals under the age of 35. Individuals who receive this award have demonstrated outstanding skills, professionalism, and perseverance, establishing themselves as the entrepreneurial leaders of tomorrow.
