- Associated Buildings & Contractors
ABC is a national association representing 25,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms in 79 chapters across the United States. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry. ABC is the construction industry's voice with the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the federal government and with state and local governments, as well as with the news media.Associated Builders and Contractors will provide the best training, government and legal representation, and programs to ensure members a competitive advantage, add value to the industry's clients, promote a safe work place and enhance the lives of the industry's employees.
- National Minority Supplier Development Council
Providing a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses is the primary objective of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, one of the country's leading business membership organizations. It was chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes.
- Society of American Military Engineers
SAME was founded in 1920 and is the premier professional engineering association in the United States for connecting architects, engineers and builders in the public sector and private industry, uniting them to improve individual and collective capabilities for national security. SAME's goal is to unite A/E/C entities and individuals in the public and private sector so that they can prepare for – and overcome – natural and manmade disasters, acts of terrorism and improve security at home and abroad.

Established in 1969 to address the needs and concerns of minority contractors, NAMC’s membership consists of people of all races and ethnic backgrounds; the organization’s mandate, “ Building Bridges – Crossing Barriers, ” focuses on construction industry concerns common to African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans...
- Maryland, DC Minority Supplier Development Council
TheMD/DC MSDC is a privately funded, non-profit, small business development organization established in 1972. Its primary objectives are to enhance business opportunities and educational development by consolidating the interests and resources of major corporations and minority business enterprises (MBEs). The Council's services and programs provide both minority suppliers and corporate representatives varied opportunities to build mutually productive working relationships.
This thirty-nine member network provides access for the promotion, education, and development of minority business enterprises through the proactive assistance/participation of corporations and MBEs.
- Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council
VMSDC is a membership organization of major corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, universities and Virginia based companies. It promotes and facilitates development of business relationships between its members and certified minority-owned enterprises. The Council works to expand business opportunities for minority-owned companies and to help build a stronger, more equitable society by supporting and promoting minority business development.
- Associated General Contractors
Located in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area, The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the largest and oldest national construction trade association in the United States. Operating in partnership with its nationwide network of Chapters, AGC provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members including general contractors, specialty contractors and service providers and suppliers, thereby improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest.
- National Guard Bureau
The National Guard, the oldest component of the Armed Forces of the United States and one of the nation's longest-enduring institutions… Following independence, the authors of the Constitution empowered Congress to “provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the militia.” However, recognizing the militia's state role, the Founding Fathers reserved the appointment of officers and training of the militia to the states. Today's National Guard still remains a dual state-Federal force.
- Design/Build Association
The DBIA is an association of leaders in the design and construction industry utilizing design-build and integrated project delivery methods to achieve high performance projects.
DBIA focuses its efforts on increasing the successful use of innovative design-build teams on non-residential building, civil infrastructure and process industry projects. Best practices are disseminated through educational programs and conferences, publications such as the DATELINE journal and the Design-Build Manual of Practice, and legislative efforts at the federal and state level.
